REPRESENTATIVE PAYEE SERVICES

At the request of The Department of Social Security, the individual or their guardian, The Arc will assume the role of Representative Payee.

Budgeting Assistance Services:

1. establish a budget for your SSI, SSDI, wages and/or other income

2. Pay your fixed expenses

3. Determine your day to day needs for food, medical and dental, and personal care and give you money each week for these expenses

4. Help you save for a goal of your choice

5. Assist with filing your income tax

6. Keep records of your finances 

This program is available for people who meet the eligibility criteria of The Illinois Department of Human Services, Division of Developmental Disabilities (DHSDD).
