BOWLING: We bowl at Don Carter’s on the last Friday of the month. All are welcome

PARTIES AND DANCES; The Arc hosts seasonal parties and dances for teens and adults with developmental disabilities.

BINGO: Bingo is offered on a casual basis at the request of participants. Must have at least 8 people signed up.

FIELD TRIPS: The Arc plans seasonal, recreational, advocacy and artistic field trips. Must have at least 8 people signed up.

SPEAK FOR YOURSELF THEATER: A stage production highlighting the lives of the actors with disabilities. Funded in part by a grant from The Rockford Area Arts Council.

CLUB ROOM: The Arc Club Room is available during office hours, 8am to 5pm

for people with developmental disabilities to relax, have a snack and meet friends.

BELVIDERE ACTIVITY PROJECT: A time for teens and adults with developmental disabilities to meet for talk and fun on the third Thursday of every month at Emmanuel Lutheran Crownpoint building from 5 to 7pm.

ALPINE KIWANIS AKTION CLUB; The Aktion club is for and by people with developmental disabilities. Aktion Club is chartered by The Alpine Kiwanis club and sponsored by The Arc. Aktion Club meets the first three Tuesdays of each month from 4:15 to 5pm at The Arc.

LUNCH CLUB: Participants choose a restaurant to have lunch together with no staff oversight. Group meets at The Arc and returns there after lunch. 2nd. Monday of the month 12 to 1 pm.

TEA CLUB: Participants plan to get together at The Arc Club Room for tea and a chat. Bring a different tea to share with others. Tea Club meets the 3rd. Monday of the month 12 to 1 pm.

PROJECT ART:

Nourishing the creativity of people with developmental disabilities through participation and exposure to a variety of artistic expression. Project Art meets for activities time on Monday from 3:30 to 5pm and on Thursday from 3:30 to 5pm.

BEADWARE:

Project Art artists make and sell a variety of jewelry and home décor items at art fairs and on the internet. Visit The Arc Gallery to see the selection. Beadware artists meet during Project Art and on special production days.
